About Vicky Short
I had been working as a speech-language pathologist for the past 15 years, and now I am planning on retirement. I have just been too sick to continue and it's not fair to my students that I can't be there all the time. I feel bad when I miss work because I know that the kids need the services I provide. The kids are great, though, because they always ask me how I am and they are concerned about me. I have been very blessed to have such great students to work with at all the schools I've been at.
