So i know this is a skid question but i really want to know this, how can i find ip addresses of a company / network? (Example : When Lizard squad ddosed Psn and xbox live, how did they find psn's and xbox live ip?)

Before you think i'm some skid on discord / skype trying to grab ip's and threaten to release it. No. i just want to know the diffrent ways of getting people's / victims ip so i can watch out if somebody tries this on me.
