About Simon Elder

I was born in Parsons Green, Fulham, London. England UK, an only child, brought up mainly by my Mother (a Midwife) as my Dad (a Gas Showroom Manager) died when I was 2 years old. I was a very slow learner, preferring to watch TV and playing in the park and had trouble getting the hang of reading and writing, basically a late starter. Fast forward to age 8 where we moved to Hastings, a historic seaside town on the South coast of England, at age 13 I was sent off to a public school, mainly due to
