I know what a meterpreter payload can do from a remote system on an android target. But can it take a screenshot of the current screen of android device and send it to the host ? If it can't what's the alternative?

I decompiled an apk with apktool in kal linux and opened the android-manifest.xml file to edit the permissions with locale UTF-8 . But the leafpad opens with an error with some wierd hexadecimal codes with red highlights. Is the problem with locales or some broken libraries?
