About Alex Piper
From Grosse Ile, Mich and Univ. of Mich, remember me as Herb Piper. I switched to my middle name when in grad school at Penn State. Was tired about "Herb" jokes in the 70's, but now think in the long run wish I did not give into the social pressure. Private engineering practice based in Orlando, FL, but long summers in Freeport, Maine. Two small kids take up all my free time.... and I like it that way. Life is good.
